Downstate Illinois Smallbore Marksmanship Amateur League (D.I.S.M.A.L.)

COURSES OF FIRE:

1. Conventional Smallbore Prone – 160 shots for record
2. Dewar Course – 40 shots per record per match
3. mini Palma – 45 shots per record per match
4. 200 yard prone slow fire – 40 shots per record per match

Sights: unless otherwise noted, iron sights or any sight may be used

Scoring: competitors will score and work the pits for 200 yard matches

Sanctioning:  These matches are not sanctioned by the NRA

START TIME:

Registration begins at 9:00 a.m.

Firing begins at 10:00 a.m.

l June 13:  1600 aggregate, or Dewar, or mini-Palma, or NRA Light Rifle

l July 10:  1600 aggregate, or Dewar, or mini-Palma, or NRA Light Rifle

l Aug. 8:   1600 aggregate, or Dewar, or mini-Palma, or NRA Light Rifle

l Sept. 26: 1600 aggregate, or Dewar, or mini-Palma, or NRA Light Rifle

l Oct.17:   1600 aggregate, or Dewar, or mini-Palma, or NRA Light Rifle

FEES:

Tournament fee is $6.00 each

ACCOMODATIONS:

• The firing line is grass and is covered with awnings.
• Camping is permitted at the range.  Inquire ahead if arriving early.
• Water and food are not available at the range
• New competitors are welcome and coaching can be arranged.  Please inquire ahead if coaching or loaner gear is needed.

NRA LIGHT RIFLE PRONE:

• All firing will take place at 50 yards on the A31X target.
• Rifle weight cannot exceed 8.5 lbs. including sights and is .22 caliber rimfire.  Scope or iron sights may be used.
